Stephanie is a registered social worker with over ten years experience working in community mental health and addictions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of Guelph; post-graduate certificate in Concurrent Disorders and a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Her clinical experience in primary care has focused on helping individuals of all ages who are living with addiction, mood disorders and chronic stress. She has a passion for working with individuals experiencing difficulties and stress related to parenting, as well as those who struggle with managing healthy boundaries in relationships.
Stephanie uses a strength based, person-centred approach in therapy to best understand unique individual needs. Her specialized training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) contribute to her eclectic therapeutic approach.
